no but it looks like it..... this is a very easy plant to grow and in fact I send it to my sons class when they were learning about plants. When he was in the 2nd grade they did a project and I choose to bring this plant to show "how the momma plant actually holds her babies up". The class loved it and because it was so easy to grow all the kids were not disappointed. We all know that some seeds just don't grow so this plant was very good because it was already alive. Everybody was really happy.

The 2nd and 3rd are mine... the first picture is an internet picture that I was using to show size. Every time I tried to get close with my camera it went really fuzzy... its a crap camera. Any way the 3rd pic is my plant I have about 4 medium to adult plants. The second is the babies you will get.

How do you get them started?? Any special soil??

I use a good potting soil with fertilizer that's it

The really aren't seeds. They are offspring from the mother plant. I have 100% growth rate with mine.
