MST3K was a long-running TV show in which a trio of silhouettes poked fun at really bad movies throughout their runtime. This auction is for a 4-pack of movies released under the umbrella of Volume 4. The specific movies included are:

* Girl in Gold Boots (episode #1002)

* Hamlet (episode #1009)

* Overdrawn at the Memory Bank (episode #822)

* Space Mutiny (episode #820)

I love MST3K...although these movies suck worse than most. I always thought they did best sending up movies that were at least watchable on thier own. The Hamlet episode, by the way, is a dubbed German version. Space Mutiny is a piece of toxic waste that uses SFX footage from the original Battlestar Galactica (be still my beating heart). Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is an obscure TV movie with Raul Julia. Girl in Gold Boots is a very low budget about a go-go dancer..

I have to agree with you on Hamlet. I only watched that episode once. Sometimes, the source movie isn't interesting enough to warrant multiple MST3K viewings.

I suspect budget had something to do with it...public domain movies and chimp-crafted scripts kind of go together.
