Thank you for fanning & watching northmtn2003. I appreciate it. The older cook books are so much more useful to my mind. Practical yet so good! Blessings & Joy to you~~~
Thank you sarahtudor40 for commenting and fanning too! I'm sorry you were outbid on this, hopefully there will be another one for you to win. Blessings, hugs & Joy to you~~~~
I bet he did make a great living selling Watkins products. I know my Grandmother loved when they stopped. She would stock up on much needed spices, etc. Thank you so much for that wonderful memory of yours! Blessings & Joy~~~
that would be wonderful..I have a few recipes that I love from the 20's that work..and are delicious too. Thanks for commenting. Blessings & Joy to you~~~~
Oh what a wonderful auction....I would be blessed to have another older cookbook. But at the same time I have several. These books bring such cooking knowledge to the younger lovers of food. I hope you get a lot of credits for this one.....cause if I am around I will bid BIG....LOL.Good Luck to you....fanned and watching/bidding
Thank you so much pameladavis98 for the wonderful comments! I love the older Cook Books much more than all the new ones..Thanks for Watching, Fanning & bidding. Blessings & Joy to you~~~~
That's when they used REAL food to make things....no fillers, artificial color or flavors, no toxic artificial sweeteners or Monosodiam Glutamate (MSG)...and we were all healthier....
Yes, that is so right! Almost all the items came from the home farm and yes healthier indeed. No growth hormones, no fillers, absolutely nothing unnatural. I like your comment! Blessings & Joy to you~~~~
I wouldn't know what to ask..and adding a GIN takes away credits. Offer me something and I would let you know.. Thank you for asking...Blessings & Joy to you~~~
My moms looks just like your the fold in the middle .If only she had thought to get five copies so her girls and one son wouldn't fight over it when she died.I don't have enought credits but I will watch and fan just to see maybe by then I'll have more credits but it looks like it is going to be way out of my league.
Thank you cheryldandridge for that nice comment. I think my Grandmother bought a new one every time the Watkins guy showed up. Boy could she cook and make delicious meals out of next to nothing. Blessings & Joy to you and yours sweetie~~~~
Well My last name is Watkins (from my Husband) so I guess I better bid! I get Watkins pure Vanilla --at --of all places-Walmart! it is so much better than Schilling. Has lot more flavor. And now I see some of their other products at the Cracker Barrel restaurant...
if you could put the cook book on a copy machine and make a copy of it we would buy that copy that you made from the copy machine you can still auction off the original
Thank you for asking pastoradue. I'm sorry but I don't sell my items. I like to give everyone who is interested in bidding on this a chance to own it. I appreciate your question. Blessings & Joy to you~~~~~
