Description

The listing, Kalanchoe pup in dollhouse pot! Cute miniature! has ended.

This is a Kalanchoe beharensis pup in a terra cotta dollhouse pot (1:12 scale). It is not a true miniature, but it can remain tiny for a long, long time because it is very slow growing! If you want it to get large, you can transplant it, but I find these miniatures a charming addition to my windowsill garden.

Because it is a succulent, this plant requires little watering. I often water it by putting it under the faucet on a slow drip. A few drops will do the trick. You can use any waterer if you are careful. You can even use an eyedropper.

These plants would be an adorable addition to a roombox or dollhouse with adequate lighting, such as a miniature patio.

Do you have an idea as to the lowest temp this plant can thrive? Due to being extremely hot natured, my house is not kept at a regular temp in the winter.

They are very tolerant! I have never subjected them to freezing temps, but they are native to Madagascar.

They are from Madagascar and are tolerant of heat. I keep mine in a sunny window.

Thank you! A mature plant will flower, but not a pup. The flowers are unremarkable and should probably be pinched before they go to seed. These propagate easily from a leaf, even a small one. The leaves are fuzzy.
