Do these beauties look just a wee bit familiar?

I played "bidding war" on Listia for them both, late this summer. But once they came in the mail, I neither one really looks good and fits on my hand. So, I haven't worn them.

So, back to the auction block! (Did you bid on them last time?)

I'm just reprinting the original descriptions below -- the exact words that I bid on -- since I think the sellers described the jewelry accurately and fairly. And I just checked -- there weren't any questions or answers on the auctions for me to share with you.

FYI: My winning bid on the the ring with large, pale oval stone was 1,123. My winning bid on ring with the smaller, more purple stone was 5,050.

AND THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL AD FOR THE OVAL, PALER STONE
"I won this on listia the posting said it was a natural amethyst that was silver plated over copper I have only had this for a week and the silver is wearing off and will probably turn completely cheer with more wear. I don't know if the stone is real or if it's really plated in silver but it is still a pretty ring size 9"
