This is an Awesome "Silex Teaket* Tea Carafe Circa 1920 - 1930's.
This is the info on the pot. Under the sliver on the glass is a round mark that says - Silex LP-a Made in U.S.A.
~ On One side of the neck of the carafe, on the silver part it says - Teaket Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat off. Hartford Products Corporation Hartford, Connecticut.
~ On the other side it says - U.S. Patent No. 1859614 Other Pats. Pend.
I am re-listing this, and have since found out some more info on this item... This comes from a Long time, seasoned Antique Dealer....
The Silver is chrome with a bakelite collar, From the 20s-30's
This is just The Most Charming Teapot!
It is usable, with a good cleaning of course, or a very nice piece for the china or curio cabinet/shelf!
