can this be grown in the house and is it safe for dogs to eat. my dogs like the grass outside but with every other dog doing its business in the yard I don't trust the dirt to be clean

yes indoors and outdoors.
I have some outside for the neighborhood cats and some indoors for my dogs, which they love to nibble on.
I planted all of them in organic soil but any should be alright.
they seem like the outdoors better so I put them out when I clean or with the other plants outside to get some indirect sunshine.
