Description

The listing, Genuine 1892 Indian Head Penny has ended.

Hello- Got here a 108 year old penny !! In the pic it is hard to read the 2 in the 1892, but it is very clear when i looked at the coin with a magnifying glass. This coin is quite a bit beat up, I found it and a bunch of others on the beach with a metal detector, but remember it is 108 years old. If this auction does well I will put the rest of them on. It is a great conversation piece and also would make an awesome necklace or bracelet charm.
I will ship it to the winner taped to a piece of card stock

well, that is what I thought too. So do you know what he is talking about ?? I do not mind going out of my way a bit, but prefer not to take a loss and go out of my way.

you would want to check also - but $1.00 to send to India sounds a little low to me - check shipping if you are willing.
From my experience, I would stick to my guns and offer no intl. shipping - due to the hassle.

as I said in my description, on the beach with a metal detector. the salt water is what beats up coins. if it was there another 100 years would have completely gone back to nature. few I got are much worse then this one. Even found a few large cents. Probably came from a shipwreck off the coast of maine and a bag of pennies went down and washed up on the beach. lots of ships went down around here.

I do not know. I will tell you a guy named LePage just got elected governor here in Maine. During his campaign he said if he was elected he would be telling Obama"to go to hell a lot". Then after elected, he went to Washington and smiled and greeted Obama. figures !!

you dealt with that indian guy ?? how did it work out ?? just the fact that he is not responding to me is telling me to back away from him. maybe iI am wrong ??? I hate to say it, but seems to be a lot of small time game players on listia. I wish they could be cleaned out some how. But I will also say there are many wonderful people here that are having fun playing with the intended spirit of listia.
