Okay..checking my husbands phone it has a memory card (or micro SD) card which is the same as my SIM card. I switched information between our phones just by switching cards. (both sprint)
No a SIM card and a SD card are not the same, or they would be called the same thing. An SD card is for expanded memory for photos, music etc.
A SIM card is used by certain networks (AT&T, T-Mobile) to use a phone. Basically if you have a SIM card you can use any phone for that network without having to call and get the phones switched.
Can we have the ESN number located under the battery please
Clean esn? anyway u can post it so i could call and check to see if sprint will activate it for me :) i am dying to win this but more than likely wont ur going to get a loooottt of credits for this :)
Oh, in order to use this phone with a service other than the one it was sold by, you have to call the original carrier and get the unlock code. Stores like Cricket will do this for you, but they will charge you, usually about $35 to $50.
all cell phone providers MUST BY LAW accept ANY phone you bring to them for activation, provided it works with their network. This phone sounds like it is a CDMA phone, which means it should work with Sprint. But NOT AT&T or T-Mobile. It will also work with Cricket and a huge number of other carriers. CDMA is, however most likely on the way out fairly soon because it is obsolete technology.
My husband has the same phone with a black cover, but it only works on speaker as it fell into the bathtub while we were bathing the baby. Would we be able to take the purple cover off and put the black one on?
i called and if u have a nextel, sprint, or boost phone all these carriers work together so u can use a nextel phone for either sprint or boost and u can use a sprint phone for nextel or boost same with boost i have a nextel phone and iam useing it with boost...and it doesnt matter if it take sim card or not just save ur sim card just if u want a new phone and it takes one... and if it dont take a sim card u just call u phone company and they will switch all ur info to the new phone;
