Description

The listing, Paw Paw Tree Seeds has ended.

All of the photos except the seeds, I got off the internet. These trees grow wild around here in Mississippi. My husband found these seeds and I didn't get a chance to photograph the tree. I am not sure if they were found near the tree. The deer eat them and excrete them far away from the tree. Usually if they are found, that's how we get them. Gross, huh? But, they will still grow into a medium size tree. More details are found in one of the photos. From what I have been able to find out about them, they grow in the South from one coast to the other. So, I am not sure about growing them in the North. You will probably want to do your own research on these before you bid to see if they will grow and survive in your area. We had these growing mostly around a creek running through my father's farm. The fruit has a mild taste like bananas.
This auction is for 3 seeds.
These come from a smoke free home with live in pets.
Thanks for looking, happy bidding and Shazam!

Yep. We used to love eating them when I was younger but I haven't had any in a long time. I read that they are hard to start by seed but I am saving some of what I have to try and grow my own. I'd love a paw paw tree in the back yard. I also read the flowers can smell like rancid meat, when they are trying to attract the flies that pollinate the flowers, so I will not have the tree too close to the house.
