Ooops! Too late! Someone put in a bid. Here's the skinny on GINs:
GINs are really easy but they do cost you a few credits as Listia holds out 10% from the winning bid. It's really a gamble since, I've found, there is absolutely no way to know how things are going to go in an auction. I've seen really blah auctions go very high while wonderful yarn, multiple-skein auctions go dirt cheap. Just depends on who wants what when -- and is on-line. :-)
Just an FYI - you cannot add a GIN after there is a bid. As long as no one has bid, you can add a GIN but after that first bid, no GIN can be added. However, if you put on a bid in the beginning, it doesn't matter how many bids there are - a GIN can nab the goodies at any time.
Thanks for being willing to consider it. I'll be bidding, anyway.
