No it is not, The memory cards go in the slots on the front of the console.

Hey, you said on the other GC auction that shipping was around $10 or something like that, but that's for U.S.A. to U.S.A. shipping though, right? Shipping from Canada to the U.S.A. would cost a lot though, wouldn't it?

You could buy something for it so that you can go online. But I don't think that matters anymore. It really doesn't affect the gamecube at all.

I also forgot to mention that the "Serial Port 1" and "Serial Port 2" cannot be opened. They are on the bottom of the console.

(This does not affect gamecube in any way) I didn't try to open them because of fear that i might damage the console.
