I have actually had US Cellular ever since I've had a cell phone and I am completely clueless as to how Verizon works. I think you should contact either Verizon or US Cellular and they would be able to properly answer your question. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, but I don't want to lead you the wrong direction.
