This one is a 1 1/2 by 2 inch Carved piece

I took a lot of pictures so you see how neat this really is. This is not a small piece, and has nice weight to it. I think the metal is stainless steel, so it will last forever, and take a lot of rough handling. And still be beautiful 20 years from now.

is the woman raised relief or flat with the surface of the glass? Hard to tell from the pics. Also, I think I see some markings on the inside of the setting?? Do U see any? Any idea of age or history?

Good Questions!.....The Unique part of the Cameo is the Woman. She is indented into the piece. Its kinda of reversed as to regular Cameo's. The woman was etched out rather than raised on top.
Its really hard to explain..I hope this helps
I have no idea of age, I got it at a Estate Sale over the Summer.
I just took a magnifying glass and cannot find any markings. Sorry
