Beautiful variegated iris! Lilac colored blooms on pale green with cream striped foliage. Highly scented - they smell like a sweet, spicy carnation. 5 rhizomes that are all at least 3" long with healthy roots.

Thanks! These are really beautiful and fragrant iris. They multiply like crazy. I planted 3 about 5 years ago and have hundreds that I have had to move all over my yard. My husband finally said I can't dig any more holes in his green space :(

Do they have to be in sun or shade? Also, what is their water requirement please?

vikkideaton1 I have them growing in both sun and shade. I started growing them at the edge of my pond but have since relocated 100's of rhizomes all over my yard (away from easy water and in full sun) no matter where I plant these, they THRIVE and multiply. They bloom from late May to mid june.

Can u plant these immediately in the ground before winter? And how deep do you plant these and is this just one?
