One has a compartment for a phone that snaps shut, the middle section has three dividers with the middle part able to zip shut , and the third has places for credit cards & IDs and also an elastic pouch for makeup or other essentials. There is also a spot on the purses's snap closure for more IDs and a zippered pocket on the back for change or whatever you wish. Really a great purse for running around town and sleek looking.
