Description

The listing, Vintage RCA Victor record has ended.

Vintage 78rpm RCA victor record in original jacket. Side A is "The PalThat I Loved Stole The Gal That I Loved". It is a waltz and performed by Charles Dornberger and his orchestra. Side B does have a visible scratch, but it still plays great! It is a fox trot "All Alone With You In A Little Rendezvous" performed by the International Novelty Orchestra. These songs were popular in 1924.

I'm so glad to see someone listing a 78! The only other time I saw one my computer froze up, and I missed the auction by exactly TWO SECONDS.

F&W!

That works for me! Ebay charges anywhere from $4.00 to $8.00, which I think is outrageous. What kind of other 78's do you have? I collect Judy Garland, Mae West, Fanny Brice, Sophie Tucker, Fred Astaire, and other Hollywood and Broadway personality items. Also speeches by famous people, readings, recitations, comedy routines, and other Spoken Word category records. Do you have anything like that?

I'll look, but my family was more into orchestra and big band music, but I'll see what I can find. How about sheet music from turn of the century toWW2.

I don't collect sheet music, but if you list them I'm sure you'll get some bids. Maybe you'll find some Personality or Spoken Word 78's. I also like unusual and very old items.

Do you have anything by Benny Goodman or Tommy Dorsey on the Victor label? But not the Goodman 78's on the Columbia red and gold label. I like other big band items, mostly before 1940.
