Description

The listing, 20 Rare Garlic Vine Seeds has ended.

South America's Mansoa alliacea or false garlic is the new super vine everyone is raving about...BUT no one can find!

Considered "Good Luck" this beauty doesn't belong to the garlic family, yet when its leaves are disturbed it produces a garlic like sent which acts as a natural mosquito repellent.

But the real buzz about this striking climber is its display of "three" fast growing colored blooms on the same plant! Lavender, pale lavender and white tubular flowers overflow this hardy vine most of the the year. This plant will bloom in mild cold, but not freezing temperatures.

This plant is great for containers. Flowers appear on new growth so careful with the pruning! Seeds packaged in glassine bags with colored picture and germination instructions. FREE SHIPPING +

Hi Kitty-Good question...how about we add 10 FREE BONUS SEEDS just for fun!? This plant is an evergreen from the Amazon Rain Forest so information is scarce. It will require at least a zone 8 and above to avoid constant freezing temps. Folks in colder regions either heavily mulch their in-ground vine and wish for luck, treat the vine as an annual, or pot in containers and overwinter in the house, greenhouse or shed.

Thanks gogalyboo! Good site. Unfortunately the one thing it didn't mention was germinating Garlic Vines paper seeds. Most folks lightly press these type of seeds into soil and lightly cover, yet the memo I received was to plant these in a little trench on their sides with just a hint of its side peaking from the soil. It makes sense but since I haven't had time to test them my self, I would love one more confirmation.
