Description

The listing, Size 8 Sterling Silver Filigree Spoon type Ring has ended.

This Auction is for a Size 8 Absolutely Stunning .925 Sterling Silver Ring. This is a "Soon type" Ring with out actually being a spoon ring. This is one of those one of a kind pieces that I won't have any more of once this one is gone. The design in a scroll type filigree that makes up the focal point on the ring. The pictures don't do this justice and I got really frustrated while taking the pics because none of them fully captured the eye catching beauty of this piece. At the two points of the ring this measures 1 and 1/4" in length. This ring retails for $88.00 and is worth more now for the Silver alone. Please see the last picture for the .925 mark that is on the back side of the ring. I am sorry if it is blurry or you have trouble seeing it. If in doubt check out my feedback. I have given away many pieces of Sterling Silver and have had no complaints that anyone received anything but .925 Sterling Silver. This is actually BNWT and is another remainder from my Brick and Mortar store. This ring is just so gorgeous that you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and take a look at the auction. If you have any questions about the auction please feel free to ask. I am sure there is something really important that I forgot to tell you about this beauty. I also do my best to reply to all questions and comments in a timely manner.

So please Have Fun, Good Luck, and Happy Bidding!
Namaste

Quick question, on the picture with the ring
facing towards the left & the tag is on the right, is the band of the ring tarnished or damaged? Or is that just a reflection? Thank you! :)

This ring is brand new. It was purchased from the artist by me for my business. This ring is not marred or tarnished. What you refer to in the picture looks like my reflection while was taking the picture. Also the shadows from me trying to get the right angle where you wouldn't see the phone's or my reflection. I do apologize for my less than stellar photography skills. If in doubt feel free to check out my feedback. I have probably given away at least 50 rings away here on Listia and haven't had any complaints about flaws in my jewelry. If there are any flaws that I notice I carefully line them out for you in my descriptions. Tarnish, to me is never an imperfection it is what real Silver does. However a good sunshine cloth takes care of that and I didn't see any when I was taking the pictures. So long answer short...oops too late=) I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at this auction and ask questions. Thank you!

I have this same ring! I want to say I got it at least 15 years ago. It's very heavy. And I always assumed it was antique.

Yours may very well be Antique. They don't really make rings like this anymore. This was made by an individual artisan and not a company. I am sure there is a company out there that makes things like it but they would be very expensive because it would be a lot harder to "stamp out" so to speak. I know my great grandma has one that is a large filigree ring and she got it in the 50's as an anniversary gift. (She and my great grandfather have been married for I am not kidding 79 years) So yours probably is an antique. We live in a throw away society any more so it is rare to find that kind of craftsman ship anymore. Where did you pick yours up at? If you don't mind me asking.

I think it was a part of my Great-great aunt's jewelry. And she was 79 when she passed in mid 1994. I have antique clip-ons of hers packed somewhere at my mom's too.

It probably is an antique then. I don't think Avon ever put out a ring like it (Tee Hee) I would hold on to both pieces. The Silver is of course worth a ton but the Artistry is what I think is awesome and there are some collectors out there who would pay a handsome sum of money for pieces like that. Not to mention the sentimental value of having pieces from your loved ones. =) I have a ton of clip on earrings that my great grandma gave me when I was in high school in the early 90's and some of them are worth quite a bit even though I don't wear them as earrings because my ears are pierced they look fabulous stuck through a button whole on a shirt so you can use them as a button . I have also used them as awesome cufflinks. Old clip on earrings have lots of "modern" uses.
