I know it was hot enough for me to keep it about 2 inches from my face. I use an iron that the plate is really wide and most women don't like them that way.

i got my hair done a couple years ago and they used this straightener. it only took them 10 minutes maybe. my hair is quite thick so it usually takes an hour.

The body is 10 inches, the ceramic plate is 1 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches and the cord is 8.9 ft. Happy bidding and my irons do not have cords this long!
