Description

The listing, Old Classic National Geographic Magazines - 1922 & 1927 has ended.

Alrighty, then....here's something that's really kind of special. Two copies of National Geographic Magazine...one from April 1922, and the other from March 1927.

What's so special about them? Well, pretty much everything. The stories, the photographs, and ESPECIALLY the ads. If anyone has the tiniest shred of interest in history, you will thoroughly enjoy reading these. It's the way they used to talk.... the words they used, and how they used them. The captions under the photos. I find it very fascinating. To see what was going on in the world during those days, and relate it to what's happening now. A lot of countries had different names back then.

One of the things you'll get a hoot out of is the ads. Ads for cars you never heard of. Most of them actually put the price in the ad.

So....I have no clue if anyone is interested in these, and if they only go for a few credits...well, that's ok. Whoever gets them will not regret it.

Now...being 80-90 years old, you can expect to see wear and tear, however, none of them have any missing pages. They are all intact. I say "all" because I have several I'm going to be listing.

Real bidder???? I'm sorry, but you've lost me. What does "real bidder" mean? I mean...that could be taken different ways. Enlighten me, please. Thanks!

ALLLLLRIGHT! That's what I was hoping to hear. You are VERY correct about the people who leave these little one or two word comments, just to get experience points. First of all...experience points are virtually worthless, unless you have about a million of them. So...I THANK you for your reply...and definitely THANK YOU for your bids!
