This was my grandmothers. It always hung on the wall in her sewing room. You put a wooden yard stick in it and it is always handy hanging right there on the wall when u need it. My grandma said it was so it hid her yardstick so us younguns wouldn't play with it and break it.Very beautifully detailed and colorful and very well handmade. I don't know who actually made it. I just know it's very old.
I have lots of auctions posted of many great vintage items I inherited from my grandmother and mother. It's been in an old steamer trunk since 2005. Am just now going through it and finding many great old treasures and even more fond memories!!!
