The cart needs battery to save the Pokemon games take a 2025 c cell battery in order to fix this you must open the cart and remove the dead battery first and then put a new one in its place there are two ways to do so the better way is to Sauder it back in place but the other way is easier all you do is tape the new battery in with electric tape the process is on you tube just look it up
