The listing, Crocheted Handbag has ended.

This bag is 100" cotton, including the lining. It is hand made and is 10" high, 11" across and the bottom is 8 1/2" wide. It is fully lined and has a pocket sewn in the lining for your cell phone. It has a drawstring closing that is finished on the ends with wooden beads. New, never been used.

No, it's not a shoulder bag and it doesn't have handles. The drawstrings are doubled, so I put them over my arm.

Can you make one in pinks? Do they stretch out?

They stretch some, but not a lot because of the cotton lining that does not stretch. Yes I have one in pink. It's pink, several shades Mixed with tan and white (variegated). It's cute. If you're interested in it, I am trying to post it but I'm having trouble transferring the picture. I will keep trlying

Yes they stretch some, but the lining is fabric so they don't stretch too much. If the lining were removed it would probably really stretch. I will check for a pink one. y mom made many bags and this is only a small portion of them. I have 1 dozen for myself, more than I can use in my lifetime, and am selling the rest. My mom made these in the last few years of her life. They are so well made, and made completely by hand. Never in my life can I remember her without something in her hands to work on, until the last few weeks of her life. She enjoyed it a lot and always said that "Idle hands were the devil's workshop!"
