Can you tell what the fine gray lines are on the face of the watch? How old do you think the watch is? Does it have a chain? F&W

i think is scratch from use it doesnt come with a chain i find it like this in a antique state sale,im not sure how old it is but they started to make this kind of watches in 1800 or so :)
