Jewelry Making Buddies... I am sorting and sharing some of my Jewelry making goodies. I have been collecting and doing craft shows and bazaars for several years and my 'Dedicated Beading Room' is just too full. So over the next few days I will be adding a few more items to the assortment that shows up in the photos above. I am starting out with some silver findings and a few earring cards... daisy spacers, clasps, ear wires, cording and more. So far, the weight on this bag of goodies is over 9 ounces. Not sure where it will end up... but will probably be a bulging Priority padded envelope. If you would like a special item... be sure to message or comment... I may have extras that I would be willing to share.

I will try to comment... when I add to the package... as changes to this auction will not be allowed close to the end of the auction. Have fun with this one.
Be sure to comment if you'd like!

I ship to a Listia VERIFIED address ONLY. Be sure
you are VERIFIED 'Before' bidding please. I ship from 1- 2 'Business' days of auction close.

Note: Auctions ending on a weekend, or Holiday will slow shipping.... This is beyond my control. We live out in the boonies, and our postal service has shortened their open hours.

I am here for you... should you have any questions.
Do check out my other auctions and... Thanks For Stopping By!

Don't you just love auctions where the photo shows a whole strand of beads... and then the auction states: "You will get (5) beads... and Shipping is just $5.99" payable to this sellers PayPal account. What's wrong with this picture folks? I know that you can ship any 2-3 ounce package with USPS tracking... for 1.69 'if' you print your labels online! If you take them to the post office it's about 1.90. By my having several auctions expiring on the same day... it allows me to give my followers free shipping on the small packages I send out... as I make two or three trips to the post office each week.

I would like to hear some comments on this subject folks. I just don't think it's right to charge more than actual shipping and maybe a buck extra for the packing materials!

Yep, personally... unless it is something to die for... I don't even waste my search time on those auctions.

Speaking of scams, I got scammed on one of my first purchases when I signed up... never got the item, and they kept telling me for weeks that it was in the mail. By the time I waited it out, Listia said I waited too long to report this seller. All I could do was block them. This is how many scam artists get away with such tactics... making promises over the period of the deadline... and I believed them... This won't happen to me again. Thanks for your comment. ~Sharon

You are so very kind to wish us well on the auction. This is the first 'Jewelry Lot' that I have put on. I am impressed and thankful to have so many bidders and watchers.

I am now thinking of the Vintage Jewelry that I have. I may share some of it as well at a later date. It has been fun.

the scamming is getting out of control-people are making a profit on costume jewelry that costs them a dollar or two(The same items are on Amazon really cheap) and then they want 6.99-7.99 to ship it!You can put it in an envelope for under two bucks! they never have the item it never touches their hands!its no longer about making friends and giving each other a gift for much less than you buy it for.Did you know Listias new viewers has dropped almost 75%?No one wants to follow the rules!F,W& definately bidding!!Sorry for venting!

This is news to me, as I am pretty new to Listia. My main frame is selling on eBay. Been doing it for years. I like the format here on Listia, as we are able to discuss things with each other. EBay doesn't allow that, they are getting more strict all the time. You are not suppose to make contact with anyone unless it is a dispute... or ask a question about something that is being sold. They monitor most every post and delete it if it doesn't fit in their mold. Oh well. It too isn't as user friendly as it was years ago.

Thanks for your comment, I tried to make a reply on my (dumb phone) earlier, but it wasn't smart enough I guess. Have a great weekend! ~Sharon

At this point, I haven't added much in the area of Acrylic Beads. However, I am thinking there are those out there that like to work with them as well. I am adding several 2" X 3" zip closure baggies of acrylic beads: Metallic & Many transparent colors. Sizes range from 3 mm to 8 mm facet cut, round, & rice beads. These are usually considered craft beads when purchased in the bead dept.

Note: I am not sharing whole strands of beads. After years of collecting, I find it best to seal all of my beads in the bags as mentioned above. This is what your beads will arrive in. I make a habit of taking all of my strands apart soon after purchasing, and I then store them according to... bead type, size, and color. Oh yes, also adding a few zippy bags of wood beads as well.

Sitting on the floor in the middle of my bead room... husband comes in and smiles at me. I grin and tell him I am sharing! I have piles of beads and zip bags all around me... and I'm as happy as a bird with a french fry!

Great auction! Just so you know, I haven't seen a limit to how many photos. I have seen auctions that have 40, 59 or more pictures. I want to see someone do an auction with just sterling beads, sterling findings and gemstone beads... but until then I will be watching this!

Sterling is still pretty pricey. I usually keep my sterling for my shows. It would be hard to put it on Listia when you can spend several dollars for selected beads.

Adding a fluffy little bead mat today. We use these in our classes to keep the beads from rolling around.

I AM NO ALLOWED... to add anymore photos on the last day of the auction... but I am still allowed to COMMENT! I am again adding to the package and it now weighs: 3# 2 ounces. I am adding the following little baggie items: A few polymer striped beads... Round 6mm Jasper Beads, More bead caps... to fit 10mm beads or 12 mm beads... a few Silver Bails... A few fresh water pearls... they are green and poured a few nice little seedbeads in that match rather well, I did the same with some 4mm swarovski faux pearls, (purple) and little seedbeads that match nicely... several small baggies of bugle beads, as I had forgotten I had some of these to share lol. And a few more little baggies of seed beads. If it would be acceptable... Please have someone take a photo of you... when you open the package and share it with me via email. Sorry, I was not able to add these photos today. Oh yes, be careful how you open the package... it is packed tightly.

I buy and sell vintage Native American jewelry as well as create with pieces of vintage sterling... I have an accumulation as well LOL... my problem is I have alot of awesome focal pieces just not the sterling beads and findings to complete them

There is a fella in CA that sells his sterling at a very reasonable price... his name is Marvin Tanner. He is a silversmith. You may be able to look up his website, I used to purchase a lot from him. He also had a store on eBay. If you have time, search silversmith on Google, you may find exactly what you are looking for. :)

Oh I know that sterling beads go for quite a bit.. that is what I create with.. sterling and gemstone beads.. I upcycle vintage sterling pieces without altering them because of the history that they have.. I add to the pieces by using sterling beads and gemstone beads. I hope that it will have someone falling in love with the piece all over again thus saving one little piece of history at a time from being scrapped. Still a wonderful auction!!

Yes, I too love Sterling, and have quite a bit. I come across a lot of vintage jewelry where I work, that is my problem, I get first dibs... and have a room full. I have to stop collecting... and that is hard for me. A little at a time until I get it manageable again. I retired full time, now part time I have more time to get my act together. LIstia is helping me with this.

Thanks for your comment. ~ Sharon

Oh heavens yes! Also love our pud... we rescued the only two that we have and they are truly thankful for the care we give them. I don't know what we would do without our fur pieces! Thanks for your support. Adding the remainder of the 'BEAD' Auction on now. Lots of goodies... Will probably do it again sometime in the future. It was fun!

Adding some tiny pierced earrings. These are 'Brand New'. Note: Not beads, but very small pairs of earrings, you can sell, give away, or what ever. Some have backs, some are just paired and ready for backs and carding. I am guessing you will get about 100+ pair. They are assorted... several different styles, all very small pierced earrings. It was a part of a manufacturers close out. They are not sterling... but base metal. Colors are all over the place... Gold tones, Silver tone, Black, White & Other. If you like to do the Flea Market scene... you would have fun selling these.

Also adding some fold over 'Jewelry price tag stickers'. The kind that fold over for pricing rings... you see these used at many jewelry counters. I hope to add updated photo later this coming week. Not sure how many photos we are allowed to put on each auction... so have to be careful not to overdue. I will keep you posted here in the comment section. Bid with confidence. I am generous!
