The listing, 1937. Canadian nickel. silver. has ended.
1937. Canadian nickel. You can't tell from the picture quality, but it's in very good condition. Everything is legible, you can see the leaves on the back, markings on the rock and log, as well as the period after the date, I heard that makes it more valuable does anybody know if that's true?
gotcha, I see I didn't put a ? after silver in the title. I meant to because I was unsure if it was silver or not. I guess an easy magnet test would've done the trick lol. So the period doesn't mean anything at all right? I saw it on a website that certain dates that had one it was a rare coin, or a misprint? anyways thanks for the information, always like input on items I don't know about.
On certain dates, like the 1947 nickel, the dot makes a $25 difference just in the VG range. On other dates it makes no difference at all. Google "coinsandcanada.com" It lists every coin Canada has ever produced and the values. It is a free site.
