This is a large universal remote with big buttons. By iwave super sized tv remote model rc5000. It has buttons for cable, tv, vcr, dvd, and satellite. I don't have the manual for it any more but you can probably find how to get the codes online somewhere. THere is a code search button too. As I remember it wasn't very hard and it worked great, just used for a few months so it is in great shape. Winning bidder can pick this up for free locally or have it shipped for $5 within the USA- I can take paypal, money order or cash. Thanks for looking.

it works with the batteries but you have to get the right signal from the tv just like you do with any universal remotes- usually it involves turning your tv on and clicking some buttons until the tv responds to the right signal and once you have the signal it will go on and off just like a regular remote. Each universal remote is kind of the same to set up but depends on the brand- you can probably find info online about this specific one.

Yep- I got this for my parents and they used it just for a month or so before they put everything on their dish network controller- it worked great though, they always are loosing their remote
