The listing, 6 (Six) Black Crocheted Doilies has ended.

If you are interested in decorating your house for the Halloween holiday then these will come in very handy. These could have come straight from Herman Munster house, but maybe they are too lacy and pretty for Herman or his Horrid family?? Anyway they are up for bidding during the Halloween season and can be used all year round if you so choose. They are all of varied sizes because they were hand crocheted, no two are exactly alike but all are done in the same pattern, so they all match. They are freshly laundered and starched, and all ready to use. This is a smoke free environment which is pet friendly, but the pets don't get onto the doilies, so never fear. There are not pet hairs or dander on any of them.

REMEMBER; IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LISTIA VERIFIED ADDRESS, I WILL NOT SHIP TO YOU, SO DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE. IT WILL CAUSE YOU TO FORFEIT YOUR CREDITS AND I WILL SIMPLY RELIST THE ITEMS. I adhere to all Listia rules and regulations, so please don't ask.

Because they are handmade, they differe a little. Some are about 4" and some are closer to 6", but when you launder them, if you want to you can block them to your size needs. You just wash or dip them in warm water, then pin them to a board lined with linen or towels and stretch or squeeze them back into the smaller size. I usually, if I want to make them smaller, wad them up in my hand and squeeze as much water out as I can that way and them pin them for the outside in (reverse blocking). That way you can make them as small or as large as you want (within reason). Some of them could be stretched out as far as 10" when they are free of the starch. I have no idea other than thinking they are mercerized cotton, so that makes them vintage rather than antique. They are in very good shape, but since I bought them sight unseen, I have no idea who made them or when. Sorry, but that's about all I can tell you. Lynn
