FREE: Vintage 40 channel CB Walkie Talkies

These are vintage GE 40 channel Citizens Band Walkie talkies. They have all the feature you could want, and then some. HOWEVER, I could not get them to work off batteries. They work fine off a 12 volt external power supply (NOT INCLUDED.) Why they won't work off batteries eludes me. If you're handy with that kind of thing, maybe you can get them to work off batteries. They have the inputs for external mics, speakers, power supplies, and some other things. They could be set up to operate from a vehicle, but you'd need an external antenna. They have a high and low power setting, well... all kinds of goodies, that all work when connected to a power supply. When these were made, they were as fancy as it got. They have everything. I just wish they worked off the batteries like they're supposed to. They don't, but maybe some cleaning of the contacts will do it, I don't know. Just bear that in mind when you bid. If I can get them into a small flat rate box, shipping will be 11. 45, in the lower 48. I'm not going to ship these outside of the lower 48, it's just not worth the hassle. If they won't fit in that small box, shipping will be more, how much more, I don't know, so I'm going to list it as buyer will pay exact shipping. I don't think it will go over 16 dollars. No, I will not go out of pocket to ship them to you free, so don't ask. Paypal is the preferred method of paying shipping, but if you don't like paypal, I will make other arrangements with you.
