Hello LaDarrius236,

In order to have better results with this auction, please add more details regarding your item. Your auction is missing a description or picture. These two things will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. We also highly recommend that you include pictures of the actual item that is being auctioned, (not just use stock photos from the manufacturer). For higher valued items, please include a notecard or piece of paper with your Listia username in one of the pictures of the actual item. This will also reduce the number of questions that your bidders will ask, and most importantly, you`ll get the best results with your auction.

Thanks for making these changes and good luck with your auction!

There's a ton of 1990s cards that are still worth little or nothing, so even though these are from old sets, most would have little value if you're looking for cards with a high playability rating, and they'd have very little value to resell. If you're looking for older cards to complete an old set, you're still taking a gamble here that you'll get ones you already have or that are not from the set you're trying to complete.

Not everyone is looking for the sets. Me personally I enjoy the artwork on the cards. Also the cards from back then are not as confusing as these new cards.

True story - i started getting the cards way back when MTG first came out - my DH (Dear Husband) would stop by the local game store on his way home from work every Friday and pick up a Warhammer model for himself and a booster pack of MTG for me. I collected them for the artwork, sorted them, put them all in baseball-card 3-ring binder sleeves, and gradually lost interest as other RL things took over. About 3 years ago, a casual acquaintance's son was just getting interested in MTG, asked me if I had any cards, I said sure....and gave him everything. And yes, i'm sure I had a Black Lotus or two in there. Gaaaaah! I had NO idea there was a renewed interest in these little printed pieces of cardboard. Sigh.

Now I'm on the other side of the game - getting cards based on playability rating rather than monetary value and starting to learn how to play and build a decent casual-play reasonably inexpensive deck or three. :)
