I'm doing great, but I'm spending all my credits setting up GIN listings .... (:(

That's no good :( I really wish Listia would make a perk for that so that we could pay once a month in one flat fee.

That's a great idea! I think Listia could do a lot of things with those perks, but they haven't changed anything about them for maybe two years, since they started the perks. It's frustrating dealing with Listia sometimes ...

Indeed it is! They burned me BADLY on a Kindle I won from them for 66k and guess who's favor the dispute was decided in?.. I jump on here and there but will NEVER be as loyal and as into this as I once was. That one experience still sits in my mind. Not to mention all of the scammers they've decided in favor of over the years. I have made the suggestion to them about the perk and proposed other perks I think are a great idea. They have yet to respond.

Don't hold your breath ... Listia never responds to suggestions. I've made a bunch *sigh*.

Re: scams ... they are RAMPANT on Listia. Yes, it is infuriating and discouraging. How on earth did you lose all those credits ... was the Kindle non-functional? It's REALLY important to keep all your correspondence ON the listing page (whether you are the buyer or seller) and be REALLY clear about anything you say.

That way, when a dispute arises, the moderator can see that you have been reasonable and responsible. I rarely have problems convincing a mod I'm in the right (because I am always in the right ... if I've created the problem I refund credits right away).

So, try not to let it spoil your Listia experience. I block anyone I have problems with, and if I see other sellers who are obviously children or buttheads I block them too. If you browse through other people's feedback you can often pick out problematic people (such as gift card buyers who scam by saying they didn't get it).

So ALWAYS be able to prove you sent a gift card, or anything else you send. ALWAYS send with tracking. Tracking is FREE if you use paypal multiorder shipping (for small first class packages) or usps.com for Priority mail.

The kindle was sold BY Listia. They shipped it to the wrong address and naturally closed the dispute in favor of themselves and didn't refund my credits nor respond to my tickets afterwards. Apparently they order these items from Amazon and ship them with a 2 day courier service called lasership. They provided me screenshots from the Amazon account used to order my rewards store item showing me it was delivered. When I pointed out the address was incorrect they never responded and that was the end of that. No kindle,no 66,000 credits.

I would open up a new support ticket and dispute this. It seems clear that it was shipped to the wrong address. Try again, you never know. That's a lot of credits to blow off.

This was years ago. I opened several support tickets and they would just close them without responding.
