Description
The listing, HP Mini Laptop has ended.
This is the HP Mini Laptop. The system is a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 with a Service Pack 3 installed. The Manufacture and supporter is HP. Intel (R) Atom (TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz. 1.60GHz, 0.99GB of RAM.
Now all this is great and the product works. Problem is the keyboard needs replacing so I am giving it away as is. If you are in need of replacement parts then by all means take it. I haven't used it for quite some time. It has no battery, only a charger. Some of the buttons work. It will come on when plugged in. But keep in mind using it as a working computer is not guranteed. This to me is broken and not usable except for parts.
Questions & Comments
be about 10$ for keybaord maybe 15, battery can run 15-20$ some cases cheaper that sound bar tho may be a issue xD not sure what the run off hand. hard to value repairs simply cause model info not supplied tho 1GB ram = bad cpu only 1.6 cant do to much but then again most netbooks are made mainlyf or email only and such with a build in reformat in flash memory (no need forc drive to format) If anyone needs help on repairs i could gladly walk you through them with basic info on model as well as cheapest supplys for hardware replacment. :) nice auction tho regardless worth investing if using it to barter or simply email and netflix and such :)
thanks but I was also able to get on Facebook. Has a Java script on it for games and also has Flash and Shockwave installed. When I got it I got the who package. To me wasn't just another netbook but a working laptop for all things. Also has Microsoft Office on it too.
Please read description before bidding. Thank you. The cost of replacing the keyboard varies. My computer guy told me about $200. HP told me about $300. This all was back in 2004. Another guy told me parts only. So take careful consideration on this auction.
correction @ mridg question: There is no CD player, the hard drive is fine. The sound card is iffy ... the network card works. The computer keyboard needs replacing and a new battery is needed. The damage that happened caused the battery to swell up like a ballon so I took it out as a safety reason.
I was told the entire keyboard will need to be replaced because coffee was spilled in it. The wires and everything was connected so HP told me that the entire board will need replacing. The RAM at this time is .99 RAM available.
Thanks for sharing. If something was spilled in it wouldn't the base be damaged because some of the buttons work and others just fell off or get stuck.
