Description

The listing, Amoco advertisement wooden nickel has ended.

You are bidding on 2 Amoco wood coins/ wooden nickels. The Amoco symbol is on one side and a siloutte of a Native American Indian head on the other side, which is labeled "wooden nickel."

Amoco was a result of several oil companies merging. Amoco took over the Standard Oil torch symbol and continued to use it until 1998 when Amoco merged with BP.

I've had these wooden nickels since the 1980s. They came from a relatives's Amoco Gas Station.
