PENTAX K- 1000 (35mm FILM) SLR CAMERA & LENS.
In good to very good condition, with normal wearing on the camera body exterior, and a very clean and functional interior. kALIMAR LENS 80-210 Standard K mount, showing very few indications of wear (no sign of mold, or any other stuff that should not be there, and I can find no scratches or blemishes on the glass).

BATTERY OPERATED LIGHT METER. (single needle meter) Skill and creativity combined. Lenses are available online, and the K-1000 body will take any Pentax standard K- mount lens old or new.

NOTE: THIS IS AN ALL MANUAL 35mm FILM CAMERA.

most of the professional photographers over seas still use this type camera in the jungles and in SE ASIA they donot fail to work like the digitals do when there is no power for 200 or so miles or when the weather is bad for a month. I used a PENTEX for years and actually dug it out from under my car wheel in NEW MEXICO after we had a Blow out at 65 mph and rolled the car twice and it ended up on camera. Took photos while wating for AMBULANCE to take us to GALLOP < TO HOSPITAL . GREAT CAMERA and top of line in its time .I still have close up wide angle 2 x telephoto and 70 to 205 telephoto as wellas 5 filters and an adapter ring for different lens EXCELLENT ITEM GOOD LUCK

There is no charger. A small battery (357/303) keeps the light meter functioning for about forever. The battery is inexpensive and easy to find and is for the METER only. The camera is mechanically operated- and that's where talent and creativity come in. Thanks for inquiring.

I do not have a flash unit. My work has been mostly landscapes. I would suggest one of the *used 35mm* camera shops online. Thanks for inquiring.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, the K- 1000 series will live forever in 35mm lore. After a little practice one can shoot w/o using the meter at all (if you want to). Also- 35mm film can be developed and scanned onto your memory stick. No need to waste paper. From the flash drive the images can be uploaded to an editor. I recommend PhotoScape, a free download, and a terrific editor.
