What you see in the photo is not the exact stone though looks exactly the same as what you are getting. The size is approximately 10 x 12 x 4mm. At first I thought this was an Amethyst because of the purple color which the last 3 photos were taken with the light shining on the stone than after looking at the stone without the light shining on it I was seeing a different color which is why I believe it is an Alexandrite. The first photo is taken with no light shining on the stone. I think that it is genuine though I have no proof of that and do not know how to tell for sure. I have had all the stones that I am listing for 10 to 15 years just sitting and collecting dust. At the time I received any of them it was with the intentions of receiving genuine stone. Some were acquired from QVC and some were acquired elsewhere. Also if there is a flaw or it is damaged in any what that I can see I will note it. So please be aware that there may be flaws or damage that I did not see as I am not an expert at looking at stones. So having said this please be aware that I am stating that I believe they are all genuine though I am not 100% positive of that.
