I'm NOT quite sure what this is. I was told that this was used when manufacturing blankets, inside the binding area for bulk and stability.

I have a couple rolls of it, so...

It has a cotton blend feel, it rips with a little strength and is very stable and supple.

It's been stored, so it's dusty on the edges, as shown, but the face and back of it are clean. It should wash.

A friend of mine got a roll of this from me and cut it up into squares to use inside her rag quilts. 4in squares...

I tried to take a LOT of pictures, because i'd love feedback on this if you feel like it.

It is NOT paper towel consistency, way stronger, it's feels exactly like whatever cotton they use underneath your box spring.

GO and see right quick. ^_^

I'm using this as the center to a few coasters i'm making, for thickness and stability.

If you have an idea of WHAT exactly this is, please leave me a message below.

If you have an idea of WHAT i can USE this for (instead of it's original purpose because that's what i do...(0: ), ALSO please feel free to leave a message below.

Thank you. (:

***I was told by a Listian who did a Get in Now on this that they're using it as a lining material. Who knew??

This is called Interfacing. It is used for stability when sewing. For example: it would go inside a collar or the button lapel to give it shape and strength. You cant make anything out of this but it would be good for quilting. It isn't a batting. Some interfacings have a rough side and a smooth side and would be ironed on to keep it from slipping while sewing..

Thank you. I've had a couple rolls of this for about a year now, and never did really know what it is. (:
