To test to see if a pearl is real or not, rub it against your teeth. If it feels gritty or like ceramic, then it is real.

definite 1930 on the earings and the large brooch, the clasp on the pearl necklace is from the 30-40's. They appear to be double knotted and are probably cultured pearls. Very nice collection
