The listing, Vintage Guitar Decanter - Really Unique! No Maker! has ended.
Here's something a little different for you! Vintage Guitar Decanter...or Jar???
It isn't marked with a maker, but the round, gold emblem on the front has a bull and a matador on it. That leads me to believe it's from Spain. I'm not sure.
This is obviously handmade. Thick, heavy glass. Leather, or what may be faux leather, is form-fitted to the bottle, and covers it all except the lower front. There's only one small glitch on it, on the side. Cord strings. The cap is wood with plastic threads in it. The top of the decanter is threaded glass....where the cap screws on. It wasn't made with a cork. There is residue on the inside, as well as some on the glass on the outside. No chips or cracks. Actually, it's pretty good condition. I don't know what came in it...but it sure is unique. I think it may have come with colorful peppers, olives, and such inside it. I bought this at a flea market many years ago....just because I thought it looked cool....which I'm famous for. Ha! Anyway, it's been sitting on my shelf long enough....time to pass it on!
16 1/4" high X 6" wide at the base X 2" thick.
It's rather heavy....about 3 pounds!
