I hid my own comment because I lost it for a minute. I just don't like busy bodies. If you have nothing nice to say, move on down the road. That's my philosophy. Anyway, I just didn't want all you good people to see my ugly side. Yeah like I have an ugly side!! LOL I'm the DanMan!!!!
That "Black Thing" is called an extended tang, and there's nothing illegal about that. And if you're at all familiar with auctions, it's up to the buyer to know his or her local and state laws.
I now know what I'm putting on my Christmas list! A little pricy but I don't mind pricy when it's for a good product, thanks again. I'm a little less than a year into the fire service and getting the optional stuff has been a pain
Well as far a carrier, I stick with a classic Buck 110 Lockback, but for a rescue knife, I have a Smith & Wesson US made LINERLOCK with a serrated blade and a spring loaded glass breaker. It's a monster As far as durability. The patent # is 5,657,543. If you can find one, you'll have a hell of a rescue knife.
Yeah I hear that. That's why my Gin prices are competitive. For a few credits, you don't have to drive, park the car, fight the crowd, drive home. Instead you spend some credits that you earned by selling, and get a pretty nice knife shipped free to your home. Done deal.
Good question. I think this knife would get you out of a sticky situation just fine, but quite honestly, I wouldn't depend on it for everyday use as a professional fire and rescue knife. I mean it's more of a collector knife long term. In this life, you get what you pay for. Ask any firefighter, and they'll tell you to buy the real deal. We're talking about saving lives here. Hope that helps. Thanks and I'll fan you back!'
