I have a weird question, lol...would it be hard to take off the earring pieces? My oldest loves star wars and would be happy to have these great pieces.

No, I'm sorry, it probably wouldn't work mainly because the figurines themselves were originally key chains that you could buy in the Lego store. With these key chains the figurines are actually bolted together, so you couldn't lose part of them.
