I won one of these a few weeks ago on listia. i waited 22 days and it never came, had no tracking, it was a mess. of course i got my credits back, but was very disappointed that the person, never came though for me, so ths is why, i will bid on your auction, am so happy you are putting this on. thank you.

I have one of these too:) They are awesome! I have the regular air channels on my tv & then the Roku is what we have Netflix on and it has a ton of channels on it to pick from also. Whoever gets this will be very happy! I don't pay a cable bill at all:)

Not aware of the problem you speak of, but volume is controlled by your TV so you can turn it pretty high

How does it stream? do you have to have internet connected to it? and can you pick up local stations?

It does require an internet connection. Wired or wireless. It is NOT a tv tuner.

It can do both. You can plug in an ethernet cable if you have a wired network, or it has built-in wifi to connect to your 801.11bgn network. You select the network and enter the password (if any) in the set-up screens
