I am not sure what you're asking. I got it off of here for 3500 credits and they had it Sterling Silver stamped 925. I only put what I knew to be true and that it is Stamped. It is new and I just got it. It was way too long and I am relisting it. I will only put what I know to be true. Simple as that.

I don't have any criticism for the question because it has that appearance. Just thought I'd lend a bit of info from a photography/imaging standpoint. I truly believe that is the appearance of the photograph, not plating stripping. As my photo imagining software pulls the image out, I can tell that the dark portion is overuse of contrast in order to manage the color/brightness of the necklace. The sharply shadowed area due to the camera's inability to adjust to a close-up shot. That happens, especially if the camera tries to enhance the photo automatically which, unless you're shooting with a DSLR in raw mode and then editing it, many cameras are going to do. It's the nature of shooting jpg images. No offense to SweetieEdie1 or her photography. It's just most cameras can't handle that kind of close-up image, no matter how diligent the effort. It's not easy to take a quality close-up of jewelry, especially a stamp. I seriously doubt there's anything wrong with the necklace.

Stamped, but is it magnetic or showing signs of plating stipping?
