I used to eat this too, I really liked the lemony taste of the straw like stems. My guinea pigs love to eat them , and they need supplemental vitamin C . I wonder why we don't chop a bit up in our salad, or our sauted greens ? It would certainly add a lovely flavor and more vitamins. It grows quite well in my California zone 9 and spreads and comes back up as soon as the weather cools.
