The listing, Beautiful Garnet Ring has ended.

Beautiful oval shaped garnet set in gold color swirl setting. The stone is beautifully dark red in color. I think the ring is a size 71/2 or 8.The band is kind of dark gold in color, and may be slightly tarnished, but has stayed the same for several years. Auctioned as is. It is gold colored. I do not see any stamp.

can u see a underlay metal were its been worn down like plating wore off or is it still the same color metal all over

It looks all the same color to me, but I have to admit my eyes are not the best. If I remember right this wasp a QVC purchase and usually their stuff is really good value and the stone is so pretty and well cut I can't imagine they would put it in a cheap setting . But like I said it's so old I can't remember exactly so I can't promise anything.
