This was my 1st year with Malibar Spinach and it's a keeper, the 1st two pictures is one plant back and front of the windmill I planted it on. Very heavy yields of leaves all summer, the more you pick the heavier the leaves get..was 50 deg this am and it still looks great. I've used it raw in salads and smoothies, made quiche and stir fry with it..it loves the heat. Grows in containers with a tomato cage or a trellis grew great both ways...
2nd two pictures are the Italian heirloom Gigante Inverno Spinach (Giant Winter Spinach) these plants are cold hearty to 7 deg, which is wonderful if you like greens in the winter. These are my own saved seeds for 2014, the originals were certified organic NON GMO. I do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in my gardens, so feel safe in bidding. As always Free Shipping!
