Description
The listing, Magic the Gathering MtG Altered Painted Art Skirsdag High Priest with Attendant Demon Token (s) has ended.
This auction is for the pictured card. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions whatsoever, and thanks for looking! -Skirsdag High Priest -Demon Token (5/5) -4 Demon "tokens" (actually just pictures not a real card-token, but they can be used as tokens with a sleeve and card behind it, as I have it in the picture. The Skirsdag high priest creates these demon tokens. It has been painted with acrylic paints that will last a lifetime and is tournament legal. Awesome!
This one was done by a girl named Marina from the Phillipines. She sells a lot with eBay. she is an amazing artist. I do them too, but I didn't do this one.
I'm sorry, I actually don't, I only have this one. it is an artistic rendition, so there aren't exactly a bunch of them printed--its really unique. If I had more, I would list them for you.
It used to be governed by DCI Rule #28. It has sort of changed over the years, but the bottom line is and probably always will be "it's up to the head judge." So if you have any that are questionable, bring it to the judge to be sure. Basically they don't want any kind of advantage. They want it to be recognizable. When I paint, I always leave the integrity of the card (what it does, what its called, anything that can impact the game) So for example i don't block out the name unless the name of the card is mentioned in the body of the text on the card. I haven't looked up the exact language they use in a long time, but its stuff to the effect of, its fine as long as it doesnt have any strategy, or you can't tell what it is, or it is marked in a way that would make things unfair. If you find the exact rule/language used, let me know I am curious to see if they have changed it at all recently. The best thing I can do is point you to this website: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=judge%2Farticle%2F20090414a which explains pretty much everything in a nut shell, and goes back to the "check with the head judge" thing. The bottom line is if you think its not going to be legal it probably won't be, but if its just an artistic modification of a normal card, then it definitely should be fine.
