High school students Ryo, Hayato, and Takeshi all possess "ARMS": their limbs have been infected with sophisticated nano-machines composed of "sentient metal" that transforms human flesh into powerful, metamorphic weapons. The mysterious Egrigori want the threesome, and they commission the brilliant, deranged twins Al and Jeff to capture them. The twins' cyborgs kidnap Takeshi's sister Maya (the third kidnapping in six episodes), attack the School, and destroy the local fire department. The students hold off the evil geniuses, because ARMS act on their own. When Al and Jeff overstep their orders to bring the teen-agers in alive, Agent Keith arrives to destroy them, shifting the battle lines and loyalties. This low-budget TV series uses lots of recycled footage, still artwork, and screens filled with words that unfortunately read like an old Burma Shave sign.
