The listing, Malfunctioning Golden Zelda Nintendo DS has ended.

The limited edition golden Zelda Nintendo DS. However, IT IS MALFUNCTIONING. This is for anyone who is good at tinkering and fixing electronics, or wants to pay to get it fixed for cheaper than buying a new one. It's over four years old, and is a little beat up around the edges and the original stylus is gone. Hopefully someone else can get some use out of this. When I go to turn it on, the green power light lights up, then the screen blinks and it shuts down.

I have a ds just like this one and had no idea it was rare, I bought mine off ebay for my son and only thing wrong with it is it has edge that looks like something chewed on it. I now plan on hanging on to mine. Great auction.

This is sweet as is "Lawenforcement". No need to hard-mod the sucker. And it's not just from water getting in the battery compartment.

That "blink on/off" thing is a 100% HARDWARE MALFUNCTION. Something as simple as a loose wire or the speakers are acting up will do it.

I might bid on this if the other one I already am bidding on loses out on me. The Zelda one is a awesome shell. :-D

By what I have read and seen, The battery is perfectly fine when this certain problem happens. It has to do with the fuses inside the DS that is causing it to do this.

I honestly have no clue what's causing this. But a lot of people seem to have different opinions on what the problem is. And thanks for yours =) Hopefully whoever wins this can figure out how to fix it

ok so I have more than enough credits to get this, So the only thing wrong is the battery ? If I replace the battery it will work like new ?

ok this is mine,. I know exactly how to mod it. Like I don't know how to fix it, but if I somehow manage to do fix it, I'm going to put red and blue leds on it and then change the hideous ds liste screens with the orignal screen and then I'll take the whole faceplabe and blackplate off and order a glow in the dark custom made one , then I'm going to chaneg the speakers and maybe take apart a ipod speaker and install it there, and finally I'll probably change the joysticks from rubber to metal or wood. :) Hopefully I'll win this one

It seems to charge fine. But it doesn't turn on properly, as the video shows if you go to it.
