The listing, Ophcrack USB- Get Lost/Forgotten Win Password! has ended.
Hardware Sandisk U3 Flash Drive 2GB
Software Ophcrack 3.6.0
Support Windows XP
Note: Does Not Install or Write.
Must be able to use Boot Menu to use USB contents. -Boot Menu displays when an "F" key is pressed before the WinXP logo appears. (For me, it's F5)
USB not cosmetically perfect- has nail polish stain, etc
-Ophcrack is freeware. Sandisk Flash Dive is not. Getting them together saves users from using a blank CD, downloading supporting programs for task, hashes, obtaining, burning, and checking image files, etc. Don't render any of your precious flash drives unusable with programs. Just bid enough to overcome the other bidders, close the transaction, and wait for the package in the mail.
-As a side note, Ophcrack is also good for accessing a damaged or inaccessible O.S. I've used it to recover not backed files from my XP when the drivers failed. I recently replaced corrupted config files on another as well. The platform is very handy for other small functions, including accessing the web. I did this using the platform Ophcrack is on, SliTaz, open source OS with fully featured desktop/server in less than 35 MB. It sounds complicated. It's not. The purpose of Ophcrack, however, is Ophcrack, which does password retrieval.
